Stockholm (QNN)- An Israeli man harassed Greta Thunberg while walking in Stockholm this week, as he approached her, shouted insults and curses at her, and then walked away. Thunberg did not respond. This apparently comes over her pro-Palestine activism.

In a video circulating on social media, reportedly filmed by the man himself on May 6, Greta Thunberg is seen walking in Stockholm when an Israeli man approaches her. He can be heard shouting “the people of Israel are alive” while insulting and cursing at her.

Greta Thunberg rose to prominence after staging weekly climate protests outside the Swedish parliament in 2018. She has been vocal about the situation in Gaza, describing Israel’s war as genocide, and has twice joined flotilla campaigns aimed at breaking the Israeli blockade on the territory.

She was among over 470 activists abducted and later deported in October by Israeli forces after joining the Global Sumud Flotilla, an aid convoy that attempted to reach Gaza during Israel’s blockade. She reported being beaten, insulted, and denied food and water for extended periods while in detention.

Thunberg is widely known for her outspoken criticism of Israeli occupation and her public expressions of solidarity with Palestinians, including participation in protests.
