Gaza (QNN)- At least six Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, including a paramedic and a nine-year-old boy, as Israel continues to violate the so-called ceasefire with ongoing daily attacks.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Wednesday that five Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours in Gaza. Seven others have also been injured.
Among the victims was a 9-year-old boy who was killed on Tuesday in an Israeli strike east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Adel Al-Najjar was killed after Israeli aircraft targeted the area.
The boy was collecting cardboard used by his family for cooking and lighting, according to relatives, as Israel has cut electricity to Gaza since the war began in October 2023. Palestinians and organizations have also reported restrictions on the entry of cooking gas and fuel into the enclave.
"We don't have gas. We collect cardboard to bake, they want to eat; they want to drink," said one of the boy's relatives, Sabreen Al-Najjar.
On Wednesday morning, paramedic Ibrahim Saqr was killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted him near the Al-Tuwam Square in northern Gaza Strip.

There has been a spike in Israeli attacks in the war-torn Strip despite the ceasefire with ongoing daily attacks.
Israel has violated the ceasefire which took effect in October more than 2,400 times, killing hundreds and blocking the entry of much-needed aid.
Israeli forces have killed more than 823 Palestinians since the ceasefire, including over 300 children, women, and the elderly. Over 30 of those killed were in this month alone.
Over 72,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since the war began on October 7, 2023. More than 20,000 children were killed by Israeli forces in Gaza in two years of its genocidal war, according to a Save the Children report in September.
United Nations human rights chief Volker Turk condemned Israel’s recent violence in the Gaza Strip, saying that “the unrelenting pattern of killings” reflects Israel’s “sweeping impunity”.
“For the past 10 days, Palestinians are still being killed and injured in what is left of their homes, shelters and tents of displaced families, on the streets, in vehicles, at a medical facility and a classroom,” Turk said.
