Gaza (QNN)- Nine Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Friday, after Israeli forces launched a series of air and artillery strikes across northern and southern Gaza. The attacks hit a police vehicle, a residential home, and a police patrol in Gaza City, intensifying fears of further escalation despite Trump's ceasefire agreement.
Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported the killing of five Palestinians and injuries to others after an Israeli drone strike targeted a police vehicle in al-Mawasi area in southern Gaza. The strike marked another attack on civil and security infrastructure in the besieged territory.
In northern Gaza, Israeli shelling hit a home belonging to Al-Tanani family near Kamal Adwan Hospital. Two Palestinians, including a mother and her child, were killed in the strike. Several others sustained injuries and were transferred for treatment while bombardment continued around the hospital area.
In Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City, two Palestinians were killed and others seriously wounded when Israeli aircraft struck a police patrol near Behloul junction close to Sheikh Radwan police station.
The Ministry of Interior and National Security in Gaza confirmed that the Sheikh Radwan strike killed two police officers and wounded two others in critical condition. It identified the victims as Police Captain Imran Omar Al-Lad’a and Police Lieutenant Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Qassas.
The latest escalation comes amid continued Israeli violations across Gaza, where Israeli forces keep targeting civilians, residential areas, and police units despite a ceasefire mediated by Trump. The strikes add to growing warnings of a worsening humanitarian and security crisis in the territory as Israel continues to impose a strict blockade.
