Gaza (QNN)- Palestinian resistance security forces ambushed an Israeli-backed militia group in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing and injuring several members. Local sources said the resistance targeted a vehicle belonging to the militia, setting it ablaze before Israeli forces intervened to support the militia.

Local sources confirmed that an Israeli-backed militia infiltrated central Khan Younis city on Monday afternoon, before a Palestinian resistance security force ambushed them. The resistance unit confronted vehicles belonging to the militia while attempting to advance into the area.
Eyewitnesses told Quds Network that three vehicles carrying individuals collaborating with Israeli forces, who are members of an Israeli-backed militia, headed toward the Abu Hamid roundabout, before the resistance security unit directly targeted one of them with a projectile, triggering an explosion that set it ablaze and resulted in multiple casualties among the militia members.
Sources said the militia members attempted to lure civilians after infiltrating the area. Resistance units responded by setting a well-coordinated ambush, triggering intense clashes.
Sources added that Israeli drones intervened, opening fire on resistance fighters to secure the militia withdrawal.
A resistance-affiliated security force in Gaza, Radaa, posted on Telegram following the incident,: “As we told you, ‘Israel won’t protect you.'”
