Gaza (QNN)- Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson of the Al-Qassam Brigades, launched a sharp attack on “undercover collaborators” operating alongside the Israeli army, stating that they are fully aligning with Israeli occupation agendas during ongoing genocide in Gaza.
In a series of statements issued on Monday, Abu Obeida said that the actions carried out by these collaborators against Palestinians and resistance fighters reflect “complete integration with the occupation” and a clear exchange of roles in serving Israeli objectives. He described their activities as part of a broader Israeli effort to weaken the resistance from within, particularly at a moment of extreme siege and starvation.
Abu Obeida said these individuals only act in areas under direct Israeli military control and move under the protection of Israeli tanks. He revealed that they target civilians and attack resistance fighters who have endured months of hunger, blockade, and isolation, stressing that such actions do not represent strength but rather desperation and moral collapse.
Al-Qassam spokesperson warned that the “dark fate” awaiting these collaborators is approaching, stating that Israel will not be able to shield them from accountability. He said they would face inevitable consequences and would find no refuge or protection within Palestinian society.
At the same time, Abu Obeida paid tribute to Palestinian resistance fighters besieged in Rafah, describing them as fighters who rejected surrender and humiliation despite total encirclement. He said they chose resistance over submission and that their story would remain a lesson for future generations, with their names recorded in the pages of honor.
His remarks came as the Israeli army announced on Monday that its forces killed four resistance fighters east of Rafah in southern Gaza.
Palestinian factions have repeatedly rejected Israeli claims of ceasefire violations, accusing Israel of using such incidents to justify continued military pressure.
In recent months, the issue of Palestinian resistance fighters trapped inside tunnel networks beneath the devastated city of Rafah has drawn growing attention. Hamas estimates that between 80 and 100 of its fighters remain isolated underground following Israel’s large-scale destruction of the city.
Israel has exploited the presence of these besieged fighters to manufacture crises and delay the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Over the past three months, the Israeli army has repeatedly claimed to have killed dozens of resistance fighters in Rafah, amid ongoing airstrikes and ground operations that continue despite the declared ceasefire.
