Occupied Palestine (QNN)- A large US cargo plane landed at Ben Gurion Airport on Friday. It carried American Oshkosh military trucks loaded with heavy equipment. Israel’s Kan News reported that the Antonov An-124 aircraft arrived directly from the United Arab Emirates, showing continued military involvement even during the Gaza genocide.
Flight data confirmed the route. The shipment added to a steady flow of military supplies entering Israel each week.
The Center for International Policy says Israel received over $4.2 billion in US military equipment between October 2023 and May 2025. The supplies included tanks, explosives, ammunition and aircraft parts. The US also sends $3.3 billion each year in Foreign Military Financing and $500 million for missile defense.
The nonstop arms transfers triggered heated debate in Washington. Members of Congress warned that unrestricted weapons shipments could make the United States responsible for violations if Israeli forces use the equipment in attacks that kill civilians. They demanded strict conditions and full guarantees that Israel acts within international humanitarian law.
Human rights groups say the destruction in Gaza creates political and moral responsibility for the US. They call for independent investigations into the impact of American weapons in the genocide.
Public opinion in the US is shifting. New polls show that 51% of Americans oppose increasing military aid to Israel, while only 39% support it. Analysts say this trend can pressure lawmakers to rethink US policy toward Israel.
Despite this pushback, the US administration shows no signs of changing course. Officials only say they expect Israel to protect civilians and improve aid access to Gaza.
The UAE continues strong ties with Israel despite the Gaza genocide that killed around 70,000 Palestinians. Israeli media also reported that work on the UAE–Israel high-speed rail project advanced during the genocide. i24 News said Transport Minister Miri Regev led a quiet visit to Abu Dhabi last week to push the project forward.
