Settlers set fire to hundreds of olive trees in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli settlers set fire to dozens of olive trees in the village of Huwwarah in southern Nablus on Saturday.

Ghassan Daghlas, a PA official who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, told QNN that nearly 40 settlers set fire to olive trees in the village.

He added that hundreds of olive trees are still on fire while the Palestinian civil defence is trying to control the fire.

Confrontations erupted in the area following the Israeli crime. Daghlas added that there are substantial losses but they have not been tracked yet.
