“Secretary of Genocide”: Blinken Speech on Middle East Interrupted by Pro-Palestine Protester
Washington (Quds News Network)- A speech by outgoing US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the Atlantic Council on the Middle East on Tuesday was interrupted by a pro-Palestine protester, who called him “Secretary of Genocide” and “Bloody Blinken.”
He was speaking on his foreign policy as his four-year term is set to end next week.
“Secretary of genocide, you have the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent people on your hands,” shouted the woman protester.
“Your legacy will be genocide. You will forever be known as Bloody Blinken, secretary of genocide. You have the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent people on your hands!.. We will not forget, shame on you” she continued while being escorted out.
“I respect your views. Please allow me to share mine. Thank you,” Blinken responded.
Blinken faced two more interruptions, with another protester calling him a “monster” and a “war criminal.”

For many Palestinian rights advocates and Palestinians themselves, the massacres and abuses in Gaza will define Biden’s legacy, as the US remains steadfast in its support of Israel’s war in the Palestinian territory.
Since Israel’s assault on Gaza started on October 7, 2023, Biden has offered the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unconditional military and diplomatic support.
The Biden administration has set a record by spending at least $17.9 billion on military aid to Israel in the year following October 7, according to a report by Brown University’s Costs of War project.
