Second Palestinian Journalist Killed in 24 Hours in Israeli Airstrike on Central Gaza House
Gaza (Quds News Network)- Palestinian journalist Omar al-Dirawi was killed in an Israeli airstrike on his family’s home in al-Zawaideh, central Gaza, on Friday morning, becoming the second media worker to be killed by Israeli forces in the past 24 hours.
Gaza’s Government Media Office confirmed Omar’s killing, stating that he is the 202nd Palestinian journalist killed in Israeli attacks since the start of the ongoing Israeli offensive.
Twenty-one-year-old Omar was killed alongside several of his family members. His brother had been killed a day earlier, according to local sources.
The office also condemned Israel’s killings of journalists, calling on the international community and rights groups to condemn Israeli crimes and prosecute them in international courts.
