Scores of innocent civilians in Gaza as Israel’s genocide campaign goes on unabated

Gaza (Quds News Network) – Scores of innocent civilians were relentlessly massacred over the last hours as the occupying Israeli regime continues its onslaught on the Gaza Strip for the 115th day in a row, according to local and medical sources.
The Al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City bore the brunt of the assault, as Israeli fighter jets struck at least five homes, causing significant casualties. Ambulance and rescue crews faced substantial challenges reaching the wounded due to the ongoing Israeli shelling and constant gunfire obstructing ground movements.
A United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA) school, providing shelter to displaced people in Al-Rimal, was not spared from the onslaught. At least 10 people lost their lives in the attack, and reports indicate that Israeli forces later raided the school, subjecting civilians seeking refuge to brutal beatings.

simultaneously, Israeli warplanes targeted ambulance vehicles with two missiles, resulting in additional casualties. The injured individuals and casualties faced further challenges as ambulance and rescue teams encountered difficulty transferring them to the besieged al-Shifa hospital.
The hospital itself became a target, as heavy gunfire hindered the movement of displaced persons seeking refuge within its walls.
Israeli warplanes extended their assault to a cemetery and gatherings of citizens in Al-Daraj neighborhood, claiming the lives of two individuals. Simultaneously, artillery jets struck inhabited homes in Al-Sabra and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods in Gaza City.
Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip witnessed the destruction of two houses as Israeli aircraft unleashed a barrage of bombs, causing severe damage.
Meanwhile, intense airstrikes in Beit Lahia left dozens wounded, necessitating their transfer to Kamal Adwan and Indonesian hospitals in the north for medical treatment.
The situation in Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, remains dire as the Israeli occupation army continued its eighth-day siege on Nasser and Al-Amal hospitals.
The eastern and western areas of the city experienced intensified air raids and artillery shelling, exacerbating the plight of residents seeking medical assistance.
At least 27,000 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 70,000 others injured since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7.
