Saudi Arabia to prosecute Hamas official and other Palestinians for “supporting the Palestinian resistance”
Riyadh (QNN)- Saudi Authorities decided on Sunday to send Palestinian prisoners for trial, according to the account of Prisoners of Conscience on Twitter.
The account revealed in several tweets that 14 Palestinian and Jordanian prisoners, who have been held in Dhahban jail in Jeddah, will be sent for trials within the next few days.
According to the account, the indictment will include “supporting the Palestinian resistance and being involved in charity efforts”.
It also stated that according to special sources, Hamas communication official Muhammad Khodari and his son Hani will be among those, who will be prosecuted.
Saudi Arabia has been holding Khodari for several months, although he is responsible for communication and coordination between Hamas and the Saudi regime.
Several human rights organizations called on Saudi Arabia to release Khodari, who suffers from a deteriorating health condition, and all other political prisoners.
