Saudi Arabia Issues Strong Response to Recent Netanyahu’s Statement

Riyadh (Quds News Network)- Saudi Arabia strongly rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent comments suggesting that Palestinians could be expelled to Saudi territory. The Kingdom praised Arab and Islamic nations for condemning Netanyahu’s statements, reaffirming the centrality of the Palestinian cause.
In a statement today, the Saudi Foreign Ministry denounced Netanyahu’s remarks as a diversion from Israel’s ongoing crimes in Gaza. “These statements aim to distract from the systematic ethnic cleansing and destruction Israel is committing against the Palestinian people,” the ministry said.
The Kingdom stated that Israel disregards Palestinian historical, legal, and emotional ties to their land. “This extremist occupation does not recognize Palestinians’ right to exist. It has completely destroyed Gaza, killing and injuring over 160,000 people, mostly women and children, without any sense of humanity or moral responsibility,” the statement added.
Saudi Arabia stressed that Palestinians are rightful inhabitants of their land. “They are not outsiders who can be expelled at Israel’s whim,” the ministry declared. The Kingdom also blamed Israel for blocking peace efforts. “These radical views have prevented Israel from accepting peace, rejecting coexistence, and dismissing Arab peace initiatives for over 75 years.”
Riyadh reaffirmed its commitment to Palestinian rights and a two-state solution. “No one can strip Palestinians of their rightful claim to their land. Lasting peace can only be achieved through reason and a commitment to coexistence,” the statement concluded.
Netanyahu sparked controversy in a televised interview when asked about Saudi demands for a Palestinian state. He claimed that Saudi Arabia has plenty of land and that they can establish a Palestinian state there. When pressed on whether he would agree to a Palestinian state as a condition for normalization with Riyadh, he responded that he will not sign any deal that puts Israel at risk.
