SANA: ‘Israel’ killed Syrian soldier in missile attack

Damascus (QNN)- A Syrian soldier has been killed in an Israeli missile attack in southern Syria, Syria’s state news agency (SANA) reported on Thursday.

SANA reported, as it cited a Syrian military source, that “at around 12:50am, the Israeli enemy carried out an air raid with several missiles in the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan and targeting several positions in the south.”

The Syrian air defenses managed to “shoot down most of the missiles”, added the source, while specifying that “the aggression caused the death of a soldier and material damage”.

‘Israel’ has launched hundreds of strikes in Syria since the start of the civil war in 2011.

It has targeted government troops, allied Iranian forces and fighters from Lebanese militant group, Hezbollah.
