Sameeh Qa’dan crosses off last day of 17 years of his son’s detention

Gaza (QNN)- Sameeh Qa’dan and his son Abdil Ra’uf crossed off the last day of 17 years, announcing the freedom of Abdil Ra’uf, who has been in Israeli jails for 17 years.
For 17 years, the 77-year-old father Sameeh Qa’dan has been crossing off one day at a time, waiting for his son to be released.
The occupation state has released Abdil Ra’uf on Friday but his father insisted on crossing off the last day along with his son, who in his turn, refused to cross off the last day in solidarity with nearly 5000 political prisoners in Israeli jails.
Abdil Ra’uf said he will not cross off the last day because thousands of Palestinian prisoners are still waiting to be freed and reunited with their loved ones.
Abdil Ra’uf Qa’dan was arrested in 2003 from Gaza. His mother died while he was in jail and he had his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in political science while in jail.
