Sad mourners take part in funeral procession of Palestinian killed by Israeli forces in Nablus

Jenin (QNN)- Hundreds of Palestinian mourners in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin participated today in the funeral procession of Palestinian Abdullah Qalalweh who was killed by Israeli forces yesterday.

26-year-old Abdullah Sameeh Qalalweh, a resident of Jenin’s Al-Judeida village, was shot by Israeli gunfire and ‏succumbed to his critical wounds a few minutes later at the Huwwara military checkpoint on Friday evening.

Qalalweh, who got a new baby last month, is the first Palestinian to be killed by Israeli forces in February and the 36th since the start of the year.

January has been the bloodiest month for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since 2015 with 35 Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers, according to the Ministry of Health, including an elderly woman and eight children.
