Romanian PM says she will move embassy to occupied Jerusalem

(QNN) – Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă said that her government had decided to move its embassy to occupied Jerusalem at the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference on Sunday.
“I, the Prime Minister of Romania, and the government I run will move our embassy to Jerusalem the capital of the state of Israel,” Dăncilă said.
Dăncilă said she “admired” US President Donald Trump for moving the U.S. embassy last year. She did not mention a deadline for moving her country’s embassy.
The US moved its embassy to occupied Jerusalem from “Tel Aviv” in May 2018. Guatemala followed suit two days later. Government officials from several countries, including the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Australia, and Brazil, have expressed interest in moving their embassies to occupied Jerusalem.
