Gaza (Quds News Network)- Security forces within the Gaza resistance have successfully uncovered and dismantled a covert network of agents working for Israel’s Shin Bet, according to a high-ranking source in the resistance. The network was tasked with inciting chaos and undermining the stability of Gaza’s internal front ahead of the one-year anniversary of the October 7 military operation.
The source revealed that the discovery came after a meticulous investigation by specialized technical teams who monitored several suspicious, sponsored social media pages. These pages were found to be spreading anti-resistance propaganda, calling for protests against the resistance, and exonerating the Israeli occupation of its war crimes in Gaza.
The resistance’s security apparatus was able to identify the real identities behind multiple fake accounts responsible for managing these platforms, uncovering several operatives working behind the scenes. According to the source, after detaining and interrogating these individuals, they admitted to being recruited by Shin Bet and creating social media platforms aimed at inciting unrest, discrediting the Palestinian resistance, and stirring public sentiment against them.
The detainees confessed that their mission was to manipulate the narrative and paint the Israeli occupation in a more favorable light, urging Palestinians to rise against the resistance leadership. Additionally, they disclosed receiving significant financial support from Shin Bet to expand their online reach and influence larger segments of Palestinian society.
