Report: Russia’s army searches for remains of Israeli soldier in Al Yarmouk refugee camp

Damascus (QNN)- A Syrian website said that the Russian army continues to search for the remains of an Israeli soldier, who was buried in the cemetery of Al Yarmouk refugee camp, reported the website.
Sawt Al Asima website said Russian forces last week started a new exhumation mission in the cemetery.
“The Russians use a medical wagon to collect samples from the dead bodies in order to make DNA tests”, the website said. “The samples are being collected from the cemetery and its surrounding, as well as other places inside Al Yarmouk refugee camp”.
The occupation state had recovered the remains of its soldier Zakariya Baumel in April 2019 through soldiers in the Syrian army.
Two Israeli soldiers are still missing after they took part in Al Sultan Yaqiub battle, in which the Syrian army confronted the Israeli occupation army, which was advancing into the Beqaa Valley in South Lebanon in June 1982.
Experts believe that the occupation state is using its good relationship with Russia to pursue its interests in Syria.
