Report: Israeli Female Prisoner Killed Under Mysterious Circumstances in Northern Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network)- A senior source within Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed today that an Israeli female prisoner was recently killed under mysterious circumstances in northern Gaza, according to a report by Al Jazeera. The exact cause of her death remains unknown, and an investigation is currently underway.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, emphasized that Al-Qassam Brigades do not plan to release the name of the deceased prisoner for security reasons. The details of where the prisoner was killed have not been disclosed, but the Israeli military has been conducting a new offensive in the northern Gaza areas since October 6. The attacks have been accompanied by heavy bombardment, resulting in hundreds of casualties among Palestinian civilians.

In previous instances, the Al-Qassam Brigades reported the deaths of Israeli prisoners due to intense Israeli airstrikes that have targeted various regions across Gaza. Israeli estimates suggest that 107 Israelis remain detained in Gaza, with over 50 believed to be alive. However, Palestinian resistance forces have not officially confirmed the exact number of live or deceased prisoners.

It is worth noting that in early September, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Ubaida warned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s approach of attempting to free prisoners through military pressure, rather than negotiating a deal, could lead to their bodies being returned in coffins. This statement came after the Israeli military recovered the bodies of six prisoners from a tunnel in Rafah, southern Gaza.
