Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Criticises Israel’s Influence on US After Releasing Israeli Official Charged With Sex Crime
Washington (Quds News Network)- US Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has slammed Israel’s influence on the US after a top Israeli official charged with seeking sexual conduct with a minor was released with no conditions or monitoring, allowing him to flee to Israel. Greene drew a contrast between releasing Tom Artiom Alexandrovich and blocking Palestinian children from Gaza from entering the US for medical care.

Alexandrovich was arrested on August 6, but the incident was not made public until more than a week later, when the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced an undercover operation “targeting child sex predators”.
A task force of local and federal agents had arrested eight suspects, including Alexandrovich, over two weeks.
According to a police report, first obtained by the Breaking Points podcast, the authorities say that Alexandrovich made sexual contact on two online and texting platforms with an undercover agent posing as a 15-year-old girl.
“The sexual contact included bringing a condom and taking the decoy to ‘Cirque du Soleil’,” the report said.
He was arrested as soon as he arrived to meet the decoy.
On Monday, Israeli-born top US federal prosecutor in Nevada Sigal Chattah confirmed that she is declining to prosecute the official, leaving the matter instead to local authorities, “where it is far less likely to be successful, given that he was allowed to leave the country.”

The US State Department denied any government intervention in the release of Tom Artiom Alexandrovich. Officials said Alexandrovich was given a court date for charges related to soliciting sex from a minor. He did not claim diplomatic immunity, as he was not on an official diplomatic trip, and was released by a state judge pending trial.
Alexandrovich, 38, is Acting Head of Data & AI at Israel’s National Cyber Directorate. He reports directly to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and oversees critical Israeli infrastructure, including power grids, airports, and intelligence networks. He also founded Israel’s multi-million-dollar “Cyber Dome” initiative, which uses AI to detect and repel cyber threats.
Las Vegas police, working with the FBI, Homeland Security, and Nevada’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested eight men on Wednesday. All faced charges of luring children for sexual acts.
Alexandrovich was the only one of them who was released quickly on bail without his passport seized, allowing him to return to Israel.
Israeli media reported only that he was “briefly detained for questioning,” omitting further details about the felony charges or the multi-agency investigation.
On social media, the case has sparked growing controversy over Israel’s influence on the US.
