Rashida Tlaib condemns Israeli occupation killing of Palestinian child

Jerusalem (QNN)- Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has condemned the killing of Palestinian child Ali Abu-Alayya by Israeli occupation forces.

Ali Abu-Alayya, 13 years old, was shot dead and critically injured by Israeli occupation forces during clashes in the village of al-Mughayir, near the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank on Friday night.
The European Union Delegation to the Palestinians has also condemned the death of Ali Abu-Alayya, saying that children enjoy special protection under international law. The delegation also called for investigating “this shocking incident” in order to bring “the perpetrators to justice.”

UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov also addressed the death of Abu-Alayya, writing that “Israel must quickly and independently investigate this shocking and unacceptable incident,” noting that “children receive special protection under international law and should remain sheltered from violence.”
