Quds News Network Journalist Maisara Salah Killed by Israeli Forces in Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Maisara Salah, a journalist with Quds News Network, has been killed by Israeli forces in northern Gaza. Salah worked in the network’s editing and design department.

He was shot in the head and abdomen near Harithani School a few days ago, where he was covering the Israeli assault. The school had become a shelter for displaced families under dire humanitarian conditions.

After the attack, Salah was rushed to Kamal Adwan Hospital. Doctors determined he needed urgent surgeries. However, Israeli forces delayed his transfer to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital for eight hours. The delay caused his condition to worsen. Salah died in an ambulance before reaching Al-Shifa Hospital.

Quds News Network mourned Salah in a statement. It condemned his killing as a direct result of Israeli aggression. “The occupation is fully responsible for his death,” the network said. “He was killed twice: first by their bullets, then by their denial of his right to treatment.”

The network called on international organizations to protect Palestinian journalists. It urged action to stop crimes targeting media workers in conflict zones.

The Palestinian Media Forum also issued a statement. It condemned Israel’s attacks on journalists, noting Salah’s death adds to a rising toll. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 192 journalists in Gaza.

The forum criticized the global silence on these violations. It called for urgent international intervention to protect journalists and ensure their right to report safely.

Salah’s death highlights the dangers faced by Palestinian journalists. Despite the risks, they continue their work to reveal the truth about the ongoing genocide.
