California (QNN)- Disney’s live-action Tangled casting has drawn backlash online, with pro-Palestine fans slamming Milo Manheim, cast as Flynn Rider, as a “Zionist actor,” citing his public support for Israel.
The studio confirmed on Wednesday that Teagan Croft will portray Rapunzel, while Manheim has been cast as Flynn Rider in the remake of the 2010 animated film.

The announcement has sparked anger on social media with pro-Palestine fans slamming the casting of Manheim over his pro-Israel stance.

In response to the Palestinian resistance operation on October 7th, Manheim shared a post on Instagram stating, "My heart goes out to everyone affected by the attacks in Israel". Fans have noted he has not shared anything in response to the two-year Israeli genocide of Palestinian people in Gaza where more than 71,000 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023.
Fans have also pointed to his engagement with musician Matisyahu, described as an avowed Zionist, including comments and likes supporting pro-Israel content shared on social media.
