'Israel' issues 90 administrative detention orders in November
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli authorities issued last November 90 administrative detention orders, revealed the Committee of Prisoners and Former Prisoners.
A new statement by the committee said that the Israelis issued 90 administrative detention orders, some of them were renewals of old ones.
The statement also said that the periods of the orders are between 2-6 months, which could be renewed several times "at the whim of the Israeli military court."
In administrative detention, the occupation state detains Palestinians without charges or trials based on "classified documents" that even lawyers cannot view.
The occupation state of Israel detains approximately 5700 Palestinians, 500 of them are detained under administrative detention.
US Vice President JD Vance claimed that more humanitarian aid is now entering the Gaza Strip than at any time in the past five years. Palestinians, however, rejected this claim, confirming that Israel continues to impose restrictions on the entry of aid despite the ceasefire.
France has rejected a visa to prominent human rights advocate and Director-General of Al-Haq, Shahwan Jabarin, who was scheduled to address the European Parliament’s human rights committee in Strasbourg, a move that “undermining efforts towards accountability and advocacy for Palestinian rights.”
The US Senate blocked on Wednesday two resolutions that would have stopped the sale of some $450 million in bombs and bulldozers to Israel, amid the assaults on Gaza, Lebanon and Iran.
