Euro-Med Rights Monitor: Israel Kills 8 Palestinians Every Day in Gaza Despite Ceasefire
Gaza (QNN)- The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said Israel continues its genocide in the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire agreement. The Geneva-based group reported an average of eight Palestinians killed every day since the truce took effect.
In a statement, the organization said Israel still imposes deadly living conditions on more than two million Palestinians, preventing them from recovering from over 25 months of humanitarian disaster. It condemned the ongoing international silence and failure to protect civilians in Gaza.
Since the ceasefire began on October 10, the Israeli army has continued deliberate killings. It documented an average of eight deaths daily and more than 20 injuries, under a total blockade that remains in place.
The Monitor said Israel enforces a policy of starvation by blocking food, medicine, and fuel. It also prevents reconstruction, restricts movement, and denies treatment for the sick and wounded. The group stated that Israel is intentionally disrupting aid deliveries to deepen Gaza’s suffering.
The Government Media Office in Gaza reported that only 145 aid trucks enter the Strip each day; just 24% of the 600 trucks agreed upon in the ceasefire terms.
According to the Ministry of Health, Israeli violations of the ceasefire have killed 242 Palestinians and injured 622. The total death toll since Israel’s genocide began on October 8, 2023, has reached 69,179 Palestinians killed and 170,693 injured.
The Ministry said many victims remain trapped under rubble or in streets, as emergency teams cannot reach them due to Israeli restrictions.
The Government Media Office estimated that about 9,500 Palestinians are missing, either under destroyed buildings or whose fate is unknown. It said Israel blocks heavy machinery needed to recover bodies, while it allows limited equipment to retrieve the remains of its own soldier prisoners.
New testimony from a top Israeli official confirms Israel misled the public for months about the Bibas family, using their deaths to shape global opinion and justify the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Qassam Barghouti says Israeli forces broke his father Marwan’s teeth and ribs, cut his ear, and crushed his fingers “for fun.” His family fears a dangerous plan to kill the jailed Palestinian leader.
