Florida (Quds News Network)- Florida Republican Rep. Randy Fine has said Gaza deserves the destruction resulted from the ongoing Israeli genocide. He previously called for "nuking" Gaza and starving civilians. A pro-Israel account posted on X, “Did Gaza deserve this destruction?” alongside a photo showing massive devastation in the Strip. Fine responded with a blunt “Yes,” justifying Israel’s bombardment in Gaza. Fine, a staunch ally of US President Donald Trump, is known for his extreme racism and anti-Palestinian rhetoric. In February, he pledged to recognize Israeli sovereignty over both Gaza and the West Bank if elected. He also vowed to expel native Palestinians from what he called “the State of Israel.” In past statements, Fine has referred to Palestinians as “monsters” and “demons” who “deserve no state, only death.” In 2021, he responded to a photo of a murdered Palestinian child on social media by writing, “Quite well, actually! Thanks for the pic!” In July, Fine called for starving Palestinians in Gaza, saying, “Release the hostages. Until then, starve away,” amid growing warnings that the enclave is “on the verge of catastrophic hunger,” with people starving to death due to the ongoing Israeli blockade. His remarks were in response to a report that people in Gaza have died from malnutrition and hunger amid the Israeli-made famine. In June, Fine called for “nuking” Gaza in a CNN interview. “We nuked the Japanese twice to get unconditional surrender. That needs to be the same here. There is something deeply wrong with this culture and it needs to be defeated,” he said.
