Trump Says Hamas Knows What Happens After Releasing the Final ‘Hostages’, Hints at Continuing Gaza Genocide
Washington (Quds News Network)- US President Donald Trump has claimed that Hamas is avoiding a ceasefire because it knows “what will happen” after the release of all Israeli soldier prisoners.
”We’re now down to the final hostages, and they know what happens after you get the final hostages”, he said.
”They want ti die”, he claimed.
In a direct threat, Trump added:
“You have to finish the job. We must get rid of them.”
Trump confirmed that the United States has withdrawn from the ongoing Gaza negotiations.
He praised US efforts in helping to release several Israeli soldier prisoners. He did not say anything about over 59,000 Palestinians killed by Israel and over 11,000 Palestinian hostages. “
Trump also attacked French President Emmanuel Macron’s pledge to recognize the State of Palestine at the upcoming UN General Assembly, claiming that it has no weight.
Macron’s statement had been welcomed by several European nations as a positive step toward international recognition of Palestinian rights.
Palestinians have repeatedly showed fear that the Trump administration can no longer act as a neutral broker. Instead, it now openly supports genocide and further escalation.
With both Israel and the US pulling out of talks, hope for a negotiated ceasefire is fading.
What Was on the Table?
Hamas’s latest proposal, delivered with Qatari coordination, included:
A phased Israeli military withdrawal from Gaza.
Full UN supervision of humanitarian aid.
A functioning Rafah crossing.
A guaranteed ceasefire window.
A prisoner exchange mechanism.
Mediators, including the Americans, saw the plan as realistic. Yet Israel and the US rejected it.
Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed source, that the US administration is also demanding the ICC shelve investigations of Israeli leaders over the Gaza genocide and end an investigation into war crimes conducted by US troops in Afghanistan.
