Gaza (Quds News Network)- The Gaza Civil Defense on Sunday announced the killing of one of its members, Mohammad Ghurab, in a direct Israeli airstrike targeting his apartment in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Ghurab had served in the Civil Defense since 2005, beginning as a fire officer before moving to the Administration and Public Relations Office for the Central Governorate, according to a statement from the Gaza Civil Defense. Israeli forces have killed at least 121 members of the Civil Defence, 27 PRCS paramedics, 284 UN agency staff and nearly 1,400 health ministry workers since the war on Gaza began in October 2023. Overall, the Palestinian death toll in Gaza has topped 55,900.
