President Trump Orders Immediate Evacuation of Tehran’s 17 Million Residents
Washington (Quds News Network)- US President Donald Trump has ordered 17 million Iranians to “immediately evacuate Tehran”, threatening a possible escalation as Iran and Israel inch closer to direct confrontation. In a late-night post on Truth Social, Trump repeated: “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.” “Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” Trump wrote. Greater Tehran Metropolitan Area, home to nearlyb17 million people, is facing growing fears of a potential strike. Trump offered no specific explanation for his evacuation call, but the statement comes amid a dramatic military build-up in the region. Just hours before Trump’s post, the Israeli military issued a threat to evacuate parts of central Tehran, affecting up to 330,000 residents. The evacuation zone includes the state TV building, a major police command center, and three hospitals. This marks the first Israeli military evacuation order ever issued inside the Iranian capital. A White House official, speaking to CNN, said President Trump has been receiving continuous intelligence updates on the situation throughout the day while attending the G7 Summit in Canada. The official clarified that Trump’s public call to evacuate Tehran reflects his urgency to pressure Iran back to the negotiating table. Trump has now altered his schedule and will leave the G7 early to return to Washington. He has asked the National Security Council to be on standby in the Situation Room. During a press conference alongside UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump suggested that a new nuclear deal with Iran is still possible but threatened: “I think a deal will be signed. I think Iran is foolish not to sign one,” Trump said. “Iran is already at the table. They want a deal. And once I leave here, we will do something.” Trump declined to give details on whether the US will offer military assistance to Israel, but praised Israeli strikes and emphasized that American weapons are playing a central role in Israel’s assaults against Iran. French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday evening that Trump had told fellow G7 leaders that the United States is working behind the scenes to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. According to Macron, President Trump even offered to meet directly with Iranian officials. Trump has repeatedly promoted himself as a man of peace who wants to end wars. He has publicly expressed interest in winning a Nobel Peace Prize. This did not prevent him from starting a war with Iran that could ignite the World war III.
