Israel to Block Arab Foreign Ministers’ Planned Visit to Palestinian Authority in Ramallah
Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- According to Israeli Channel 2, Israel has decided to block the entry of foreign ministers from several Arab countries to the West Bank. These ministers planned to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah. The delegation included the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The visit was scheduled for Sunday.

Palestinian officials had earlier announced that Saudi Arabia would send its foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, to the West Bank for the first time since Israel’s occupation in 1967. The visit aimed to support the Palestinian leadership amid ongoing genocide in Gaza. The Saudi-led delegation intended to reinforce Arab political backing and discuss recognition of a Palestinian state.

The Palestinian Authority confirmed a meeting of Arab foreign ministers but did not disclose attendees. Diplomatic sources revealed that Israel was informed about the planned visit in advance.

This blocked visit marks a setback in Arab diplomatic efforts to support Palestine. It also highlights ongoing tensions between Israel and key Arab states, including Saudi Arabia.

The blocked delegation was part of a broader Arab initiative to rally support for Palestine and prepare for an international meeting promoting a two-state solution and Palestinian state recognition.
