In Pictures: Aftermath of Deadly Israeli Strike on Tent Camp in Gaza’s al-Mawasi
Gaza (Quds News Network)- At least 36 Palestinians were killed and more than 100 injured after Israeli warplanes bombed a tent camp sheltering displaced families in the so-called "safe zone" of al-Mawasi, near Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Horrific videos from the scene showed many bodies, including some on fire. The dead and wounded were taken to a nearby field hospital and the Nasser Medical Complex.
Some of the victims’ bodies were charred. Survivors screamed for help as fire and smoke spread across the makeshift shelters.
Israeli warplanes bombed the tents twice within 30 minutes. Local sources say the attacks were deliberate and directly hit clusters of tents where families were gathered.

Since the start of the Israeli genocide, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have fled repeated Israeli bombardments, seeking refuge in areas Israel declared “safe zones.” Al-Mawasi, once designated as a humanitarian corridor, is now under direct and repeated attacks.
Meanwhile, medical sources stated that over 125 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn on Sunday. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue workers continue to search through rubble and tents.
Israel’s approval of 764 new West Bank settlement units marks another major expansion under Netanyahu, tightening control over Palestinian land and eroding hopes for a political agreement.
Logan said he doesn't think "Israel should be allowed to hide under the umbrella of the Eurovision," adding that he was "proud" of the broadcaster making the "right decision."
