NGOs: 'Israel' arrested 615 Palestinians in last July only
Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli forces have arrested 615 Palestinians; including 93 children and 9 women in last July, according to a report issued on Tuesday by human rights NGOs.
A group of NGOs, which are the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Committee (The Palestinians Prisoners Club, and Addameer), issued Tuesday a fact sheet, which revealed that Israeli authorities have arrested 266 Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem, 76 from Ramallah and Bireh, 75 from Hebron, 54 from Jenin, 33 from Bethlehem, 39 from Nablus, 17 from Tulkarem, 21 from Qalqilya, 7 from Tubas, 6 from Salfit, 8 from Jericho and the Jordan Valley, in addition to 13 others from the Gaza strip.
The sheet also revealed that the total number of the Palestinian prisoners has increased to reach 5700 until the end of May, including 37 women, 230 children, and 500 prisoners detained under administrative detention. Meanwhile, 100 administrative detention order have been issued.
