Israeli NGO seeks to prevent US Rep. Ilhan Omar from entering 'Israel'
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- An Israeli NGO is seeking to have Rep. Ilhan Omar barred from entering the occupied land over her support of the pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, otherwise known as BDS.
According to Israeli media, the Shurat HaDin organization has asked the Jerusalem District Court to order the Israeli Interior Minister Aryeh Deri to deny Omar entry to 'Israel' ahead of her scheduled trip to the occupied land this month.
Earlier this month, Omar introduced a bill championing the right of US citizens to boycott foreign countries.
Shurat HaDin is a right-wing organisation, responsible for defending illegal settlers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Darshan-Leitner denies ever saying that to a U.S. diplomat.
The NGO is well-known for law suits against US. former president Jimmy Carter over the publication of his book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid. It also filed a suit against the New Zealand Palestinian solidarity activists Justine Sachs and Nadia Abu-Shanab for convincing the New Zealand singer Lorde to cancel her scheduled tour of Tel Aviv, claiming $13,000 in damages to "emotional" and "artistic welfare" on behalf of three teenage Israelis. Another law suit was filed by the NGO this year against Airbnb, forcing it to rescind its 2018 decision to remove listings by Jewish illegal settlers in the occupied West Bank.
