Al-Qassam release video of Israeli prisoner Almog Sarosi before his death
Gaza (Quds News Network)- Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the resistance group Hamas, released a video on Friday showing Israeli prisoner Almog Sarosi before his death in Gaza. The video surfaced amidst ongoing Israeli military attacks in the strip.
In the footage, Sarosi described his harrowing experience under Israel's attacks, saying, “Our conditions are difficult. There is no food, water, or electricity, and it is known to everyone that these basic necessities are unavailable here. Bombings are targeting us everywhere."
Sarosi went on to criticize the Israeli government and military for their targeting of israeli prisoners, stating, "The Israeli bombings were targeting me and the other Israelis captured here. The government of Israel, the Israeli army, and their security services—on October 7th, you failed and neglected us. You have continued to fail during recent periods with failed and false liberation attempts during ground invasion operations, attempts that would have led to my death."
The video release follows a period of intensified Israeli military attacks in Gaza, which have resulted in numerous casualties and widespread destruction.
The video is part of a series released by the resistance movement featuring Israeli prisoners, killed by Israeli strikes, and whose bodies were recovered a few weeks ago.
“Disfigured kids with their limbs blown off, and mangled faces. The real crime is that the supporters of this atrocity are justifying it,” Carlson noted.
Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed source, that the US administration is also demanding the ICC shelve investigations of Israeli leaders over the Gaza genocide and end an investigation into war crimes conducted by US troops in Afghanistan.
