Israeli forces assault man, steal his vehicle near Nablus
Nablus (Quds News Network) – Israeli occupation forces attacked a Palestinian man today and stole his vehicle outside the village of Yanoun, in the northern West Bank province of Nablus, according to local sources.
Rashid Murrar, the head of the Yanoun Village Council, told the official Wafa news agency that an Israeli military unit stationed at a checkpoint near the village briefly detained Yaser Fahmi Murrar, a local Palestinian resident, while he was trying to pass through the checkpoint.
Murrar pointed out that the Israeli soldiers physically assaulted Yaser before and confiscated his vehicle. He said the latter was briefly detained by the soldiers during the incident before being let go.
Israel’s approval of 764 new West Bank settlement units marks another major expansion under Netanyahu, tightening control over Palestinian land and eroding hopes for a political agreement.
Logan said he doesn't think "Israel should be allowed to hide under the umbrella of the Eurovision," adding that he was "proud" of the broadcaster making the "right decision."
In the September 17-18, 2024 attacks on Lebanon, Israel detonated thousands of handheld pagers and walkie-talkies in public places, killing dozens including women and children and injuring nearly 3,000, according to the Lebanese government.
