Meta approves all ads containing anti-Palestinian incitement
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Meta approved all test ads containing hate speech and incitement to violence and genocide of Palestinians, according to The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media, 7amleh.  A new report by The Intercept revealed that a series of advertisements dehumanizing and calling for violence against Palestinians, presented by 7amleh and intended to test Facebook’s content moderation standards, were all approved by the social network. The test ads, in both Hebrew and Arabic, included flagrant violations of policies for Facebook and its parent company Meta. Some contained violent content directly calling for the murder of Palestinian civilians, like ads demanding a “holocaust for the Palestinians” and to wipe out “Gazan women and children and the elderly.” Other posts, like those describing kids from Gaza as “future terrorists” and a reference to “Arab pigs,” contained dehumanizing language. Nadim Nashif, founder of  7amleh, told The Intercept that the approval of the ads "is just the latest in a series of Meta’s failures towards the Palestinian people." “Throughout this crisis, we have seen a continued pattern of Meta’s clear bias and discrimination against Palestinians", he added. Pro-Israel ads, including one inciting the assassination of American activist Paul Larudee, a co-founder of the Free Gaza Movement, was approved by Meta. The company deleted the ad, however, after users reported it. The ad explicitly read: “It’s time to assassinate Paul Larudi [sic], the anti-Semitic and ‘human rights’ terrorist from the United States.” It was published by Ad Kan, an Israeli group founded by a former Israeli officer. QNN noticed that Facebook approved an ad calling Palestinians and Jordanians to leave the West Bank and Jordan. [embed]https://twitter.com/qudsnen/status/1725576169628533207?s=46[/embed]

Meta has been targeting pages that support Palestinian content under the pretext of violating its standards. The company removed QNN's Facebook page several times without any clarification, and it continues to remove content on QNN's Instagram account.
