Occupied Palestine (QNN) - Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli settlers' storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound and performing Talmudic rituals in its courtyards under the protection of the occupation police.
In a statement on Sunday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the continuation of serious and provocative violations against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque clearly reveals the intention of the occupation to direct the conflict into a religious war.
It considered the settlers’ storming and performing Talmudic rituals at al-Aqsa a flagrant violation of the international law, a part of the ongoing attempts to change the historical and legal status quo of the Mosque, an attempt to impose temporal division of the mosque, and a provocation for the feelings of Muslims in the world.
the Ministry underlined the need for the international community to move urgently to deter the occupation, and to assume its moral and legal responsibilities towards occupied Jerusalem and its holy sites.
It reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on the justice of the Palestinian cause, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
At least seven Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since last night, as Israel continues to violate Trump’s so-called ceasefire agreement — killing hundreds of civilians and blocking desperately needed aid from entering the enclave.
British Health Secretary Wes Streeting privately said in 2025 that Israel was “committing war crimes before our eyes” and carrying out “ethnic cleansing” in the Gaza Strip, and that he supported imposing sanctions on Israel.
