Occupation gunboats fire multiple artillery shells towards coast of Gaza
Occupied Palestine (QNN) - Israeli occupation gunboats on Thursday opened fire using multiple artillery shells towards the coast of the northern besieged Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the occupation gunboats fired multiple artillery shells towards the coast of Al-Sudania area to the northwest of Gaza Strip, causing huge explosions.
There sources pointed out that there were no reports of casualties or injuries among the citizens.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards Palestinian agricultural lands in eastern Gaza Strip. No injuries reported due to the incident.
Israeli forces routinely open fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen sailing within the allowed-nautical-miles zone and also towards shepherds and farmers along the border fence areas, east of Gaza Strip.
Israeli human rights group Btselem has said that Israel’s Gaza closure and “harassment of fishermen” have been “destroying Gaza’s fishing sector,” with 95% of fishermen living below the poverty line.
