Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinian students on Tuesday morning after raiding their school and attacking teachers in the village of Deir Nidham, north of Ramallah in the center of the occupied West Bank. Local sources said that Israeli occupation soldiers arrested two Palestinian students, identified as Ramez al-Tamimi and Ahmad al-Tamimi, from their classroom after raiding their school and attacking the teachers who tried to prevent the soldiers from arresting the children and confront the raid. Sometimes, Parents are forced to drive their children to and from school every day because they are scared of their children being hurt or arrested by the Israeli occupation soldiers. The schoolchildren are also forced to take alternative routes through villages fields to get home as Israeli soldiers patrol the main roads. In 2019, the United Nations documented 257 education-related incidents in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip that impacted children’s right to access education. Palestinian children living under Israeli military occupation in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip are routinely denied many rights: right to life, right to education, right to adequate housing, and are denied access to healthcare, among other rights denials inherent in a decades-long Israeli military occupation with no end in sight.
