Statistics: 'Israel' demolished 950 West Bank, Jerusalem structures in 2021
Occupied West Bank (QNN)- The Israeli army demolished approximately Palestinian-owned 950 structures in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem in 2021, according to statistics by the Land Research Center.
According to the head of the center, Jamal Al Amleh, the Israeli authorities demolished nearly 950 structures and confiscated nearly 24,750 dunums of land.
The center also stated that Israeli settlers, supported by Israeli soldiers, chopped and damaged nearly 17,740 trees.
Al Amleh added that the occupation state also expanded 55 illegal settlements and constructed nearly 15 new settlement outposts in the same year. The Israeli government, meanwhile, approved plans for 100 new settlement projects.
In the same vein, the occupation state constructed 25 new settlers-only roads in 2021 for Israeli settlers and soldiers only.
