Israeli authorities send hunger-striking detainee to interrogation
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Israeli Shin Bet has sent Ala'a Al A'raj, an administrative detainee, who has been on hunger strike for 87 days, for interrogation.
Al A'raj's attorney, Jawad Boulos, said that Al A'raj is being interrogated at the clinic of Al Ramleh prison despite his serious health condition.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society, Al A'raj cannot stand up and he lost over 20 km of his weight. He also has speech difficulties and pains in the abdomen and chest. He has blurred vision as well.
Six detainees are still on hunger strike for periods ranging from 22 to 111 in protest against being arbitrarily detained under administrative detention without charges or trial.
“Disfigured kids with their limbs blown off, and mangled faces. The real crime is that the supporters of this atrocity are justifying it,” Carlson noted.
Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed source, that the US administration is also demanding the ICC shelve investigations of Israeli leaders over the Gaza genocide and end an investigation into war crimes conducted by US troops in Afghanistan.
