On the World Press Freedom Day.. Israel kills 2 journalists and commits 266 violations
Ramallah (QNN)- On the World Press Freedom Day, numbers show increase in the Israeli violations against journalists. Israel have killed two journalists last year; Yaser Murtaja (30 years old) and Ahmad Abu Hussain (25 years old), while injured 20 others with live or expanding bullets, causing bones to be broken or lacerated, in addition to one amputation. Statistics show that 19 other journalists were injured by tear gas canisters directly thrown at them by Israeli soldiers, causing broken bones, while 44 others were suffocated and treated in the field. 25 journalists meanwhile, have been arrested on the basis of journalists' work.
