120 US universities recognize 'Israel' as apartheid state
Washington (QNN)- Research centers for Gender studies in 120 American universities recognized the occupation state as an apartheid state, according to Days of Palestine.
In a statement, issued by the centers and seen by Days of Palestine, the centers called on feminist activists to "join the struggle for Palestine's freedom."
"We unequivocally respond to the call of solidarity with the people of Palestine, and announce our joining the struggle for Palestinian liberation", the statement read.
The statement also condemned the ethnic forced expulsion of the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. It also condemned the daily Israeli raids into Al Aqsa mosque and the indiscriminate shelling of Gaza.
