Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli prisons administration prevented lawyers of five Palestinian prisoners on strike from visiting their clients, said the Committee of detainees and ex-detainees on Tuesday. The prisoners have been on hunger strike to protest being held in administrative detention. The committee revealed that the Israeli authorities follow a series of repressive measures against prisoners on strike; like sending them to solitary confinement and assaulting them to force them end their strike. The prisoners are Hussam Al Ruzzeh (61 years old) from Nablus, Muhammad Tabanjah (38 years old) from Nablus, Khaled Farraj (31 years old) from Bethlehem, Hassan Iwaiwi (35 years old) from Hebron, and Oudeh Al Hroub (32 years old) from Hebron. Most of them started hunger strike last March. The committee expressed concern over the worsening health condition of the prisoners amid the Israeli escalation against them and held Israel responsible for their lives.
