Video| Israeli army vandalizes, closes medical institution in Al Bireh
Al Bireh (QNN)- The Israeli army broke into the headquarter of the Union of Health Work Committees in Al Bireh city this morning.
Video footage from the headquarter showcase extensive vandalism caused by Israeli soldiers, who smashed doors, computers, and offices.
The union said Israeli soldiers closed the main door of the institution using metal bars and hanged a written order to close it.
It added in a press release that the closure comes as part of the Israeli procedures to impose restrictions on Palestinian medical institutions.
It also called on the Palestinian Authority to do its job, protecting Palestinian institutions and stop attacks on them.
In the same vein, local sources said Israeli forces arrested the former President of the Governing Council of the institution, Fareed Marra, after breaking into his house in Tireh, Ramallah this morning.
