40,000 worshipers perform Friday prayer at Al Aqsa mosque
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- 40,000 worshipers performed Friday prayer today despite the Israeli strict measures throughout the occupied city and the old city.
The head of the directorate of Islamic Waqf in occupied Jerusalem Azzam Al Khatib said that 40,000 worshipers visited the holy mosque.
Israeli forces had set barriers at the entrances to the old city. They also carried out an ID search campaign and prevented several native Palestinians from entry into the holy mosque.
