For the first time in a month.. Palestinian prisoners take their right to pray on Fridays by force
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- After a month of being prevented from performing Friday prayer, the Palestinian prisoners performed on Friday their first Friday prayer in the prisons' yards.
The Israelis have agreed to give the prisoners some basic right, which they have been demanding after two weeks of difficult negotiations and a tough mass hunger strike.
The spokesperson of Palestine's prisoners center Ryad Al Ashqar for studies said that calm has returned to the prisons following the recent violet events in which over 100 prisoners were wounded.
Al Ashqar also stressed that the victory of the prisoners "doesn't mean the end of their suffering. We have to support them and to continue supporting them in all methods until the last prisoner is released from the Israeli prisons."
At least seven Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since last night, as Israel continues to violate Trump’s so-called ceasefire agreement — killing hundreds of civilians and blocking desperately needed aid from entering the enclave.
British Health Secretary Wes Streeting privately said in 2025 that Israel was “committing war crimes before our eyes” and carrying out “ethnic cleansing” in the Gaza Strip, and that he supported imposing sanctions on Israel.
