New York (QNN)- Hundreds of Americans in Manhattan took part in a rally in solidarity with Palestine on Tuesday. The "Free Palestine protest" started outside the Israeli Consulate in Manhattan. NYPD have barricaded the sidewalks off to keep the crowd contained and out of the street. The staff at the Israeli UN Mission and Consulate in New York had been ordered to leave their offices early before the protest, reported Israeli media. Protesters chanted slogans demanding freedom for Palestine and showing solidarity with Jerusalem, Gaza and all occupied territories.
