London (QNN)- Crowds of protesters gathered in central London to demonstrate against Israeli plans to forcefully evict Palestinian families in Jerusalem this week, as well as attacks on worshipers at Al Aqsa mosque, which has sparked days of clashes in the holy city. Protesters waved Palestinian flags and held banners demanding 'Freedom for Palestine' as they rallied outside Downing Street on Sunday. The protest saw confrontations between protesters and pro-Israeli activists, who started harassing them. Demonstrations were also scheduled to take part in Manchester, Birmingham, and Bradford.
