SANA denies reports about secret talk between Syria and 'Israel'
Damasus (QNN)- Syria's state news agency (SANA) on Saturday said that "any reports about secret negotiations or talks between Syria and the Zionist entity are nothing but political and media propaganda".
"Recently, there have been many rumors and fake news about secret talks and negotiations between Syria and the Zionist entity", it added. "We reaffirm Syria's firm position that has been always clear and transparent dealing with this issue, and that it has never walked in the road of secret talks with the Zionist entity, out of the conviction that any talks should be in the interest of Syria and its people."
It also stated that "everything that Syria has done before was in public and everything will be so either in the present or the future. Thus, any reports about secret talks between Syria and the Zionist entity are nothing but political and media propaganda."
Senior Rabbi of the Jewish Council of the Emirates, Elie Abadie, has said in a TV. show on Russia Today channel, that secret talks have been being held between the Syrian regime and the Israeli government and that a normalization deal between the regime and the occupation state will be finally signed.
Abadie added that Bashar Assad has invited him to visit Syria 11 years ago, however the war stopped the plan.
At least seven Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since last night, as Israel continues to violate Trump’s so-called ceasefire agreement — killing hundreds of civilians and blocking desperately needed aid from entering the enclave.
British Health Secretary Wes Streeting privately said in 2025 that Israel was “committing war crimes before our eyes” and carrying out “ethnic cleansing” in the Gaza Strip, and that he supported imposing sanctions on Israel.
